You're ready to paint your frame. Where
to start?
- Get in touch.
Phone us at (706) 678 4569 or email.
We'll let you know when our next time slot is available. We will also
let you know when to send your frame and when you can expect it back,
as well as a quote estimate if you've already taken care of Step 2.
- Decide on a paint and decal scheme.
Of course, we'll be happy to help you on this one--it's the hardest
part. To confuse matters even more, we have an infinite selection
of colors and decals, so let your imagination run wild. See the F.A.Q.
and All About Decals pages for more
information, or just drop us an email.
- Prepare the frame.
We should receive the frame with no parts except those to be painted.
Most bike shops will strip a frame for a very reasonable fee. For
the more mechanically inclined, you may remove the parts yourself.
If you can't get the bottom bracket or headset cups out, we can do
that for you.
- Package and ship it.
Shipping is very important. See our detailed page on How
to Ship a Bike Frame. In addition to your frame, include a note
with as much description of your requested paint scheme as you'd like
to provide. Feel free to include pictures from magazines or websites.
- We'll take it from here.
When the frame arrives we will notify you and confirm your paint scheme
information.
